Changes on bus routes No. 7, 8 and 44 on August 23-27

"Rīgas satiksme" informs that from August 23 till August 27 the traffic of transport will be closed through the railway level crossing in Liepājas Street due to the level crossing repair, which will cause changes on bus routes No. 7, 8 and 44.

Buses on route No. 7 will run from the city centre by the route to Mārupes Street, then in Mārupes Street, O.Vācieša Street, Altonovas Street, Ārlavas Street Tēriņu Street, Robežu Street, K.Ulmaņa gatve to Liepājas Street and further by the route. Bus stops „Mārupes Street” and „Policlynic” will not be served in this direction.

On the way to the city centre, buses on route N. 7 will run by the route to Liepājas Street, then in Liepājas Street, K.Ulmaņa gatve, O.Vācieša Street, Asītes Street, Tēriņu Street, Ārlavas Street, Altonovas Street, O.Vācieša Street to Mārupes Street and further by the route. Bus stop „Policlynic” will not be served in this direction.

Buses on route No. 8 will run from the city centre by the route to Mārupes Street, then in Mārupes Street, O.Vācieša Street, Altonovas Street, Ārlavas Street, Tēriņu Street, Robežu Street, K.Ulmaņa gatve, Liepājas Street to Krūzes Street and further by the route. Bus stops „Mārupes Street” and „Policlynic” will not be served in this direction.

On the way to the city centre, buses on route N. 8 will run by the route to Krūzes Street, then in Liepājas Street, K.Ulmaņa gatve, O.Vācieša Street, Asītes Street, Tēriņu Street, Ārlavas Street, Altonovas Street, O.Vācieša Street to Mārupes Street and further by the route. Bus stop „Policlynic” will not be served in this direction.

Buses on route No. 44 will run from Ziepniekkalns by the route to Liepājas Street, then in Mārupes Street, O.Vācieša Street, Altonovas Street, Ārlavas Street, Tēriņu Street, Robežu Street, K.Ulmaņa gatve, Liepājas Street to Krūzes Street and further by the route. Bus stops „Mārupes Street” and „Policlynic” will not be served in this direction.

On the way from Zolitūde, buses on route No. 44 will run by the route to Krūzes Street, then in Liepājas Street, K.Ulmaņa gatve, O.Vācieša Street, Asītes Street, Tēriņu Street, Ārlavas Street, Altonovas Street, O.Vācieša Street, Mārupes Street to Liepājas Street and further by the route. Bus stops „Mārupes Street” and „Policlynic” will not be served in this direction.

Buses on the above routes will stop and let passengers get on/off at all stops located on the bypass, and there will be also a temporary stop for buses No. 8 and 44 in both directions behind the crossing of Liepājas Street and Krūzes Street. Schedules will not be changed, yet passenger should take into account that delays are possible on these bus routes on the above days, and the way time will be also longer.
